Gez founded the lab in the early 2000’s with a Senior Clinical Fellowship from Wellcome Trust. His research interests focus on brain plasticity, neuronal circuitry and cognition. Outside the lab he can be spotted in tapas bars or the local lido.

ALASTAIR KIRBY

PhD Student

Alastair joined the lab on the 1+3 MRC DTP scheme in 2017. The focus of his project has been to define an electrophysiological signature of local network activity that reflects cortical rewiring. When he is not looking for artifacts on the rig he is probably sampling some gin.
